Weekly Photo Challenge: Symmetry

Here is my entry in WordPress’ Weekly Photo Challenge, with the topic of Symmetry.

The photos were taken by me during the 2014 Vivid Festival in Sydney, Australia.  The festival lights up well know iconic buildings throughout the main CBD area with amazing laser shows.

There is a mixture of symmetry and abstract that mesh well to produce stunning experiences for all in attendance.

  2. I enjoyed these pictures greatly. I saw the majestic Sydney Opera House on a visit to Australia in 2003 and attended a performance of Madame Butterfly there. Seeing it splashed with a rainbow of colors in this photo was wonderful.

    • Hello Rebecca. Yes, the Opera House is majestic at any time, but seeing it splashed with colour was just amazing — and the patterns and colours changed to music throughout the night. The Festival goes for a couple of weeks.
Rebecca, do you have a blog? I couldn’t get a link back to you. I’m always interested in reading what others write and post. 🙂
