Weekly Photo Challenge: Vibrant

This week’s photo challenge from WordPress is to show something vibrant:

This week, share a photo of something vibrant. Vivid colors, a lively portrait, or perhaps a delightfully colorful landscape, if you’re in a warmer climate. Let’s wash the web with a rainbow of colors to keep the winter gloom at bay.

I’ve chosen to show a few photos of lorikeets that would visit my home on a daily basis, and sometimes stay for hours.  Sometimes, they might get a treat.  🙂 It’s pretty hard to be more vibrant than a lorikeet.

If you’d like to see some more vibrant lorikeets, please go to Noortje’s blog.  Her photos are great!  🙂

  4. Oooh they are so gorgeous and cute… and I think if they’d come and visit my home on a regular basis I’d spoil them terribly and would just sit there for hours, looking at them, madly in love… 🙂
How great we’ve chosen the same vibrant creatures!!

    • They have amazing personalities as well…over time they got to know me and wouldn’t flinch if I came out to sit and take their photos.
Now I live in Brisbane, and there are plenty around here as well. You particularly hear them in the late afternoon as sunset approaches.
